The Churchs first source of help to it’s members is home teachers.
We are commanded to watch over the church always.
A monthly visit in each home is still the ideal.
Lift your vision of home teaching.
See yourselves as emissaries of the Lord to his children.
Every good thing you do counts for home teaching.
What matters is that you love your people and are fulfilling your commandment to watch over the church always.
Love, care, and pray for the people you are assigned.

*How can we desire to read the Book of Mormon as did Parley P. Pratt?
“I read all day; eating was a burden, I had no desire for food; sleep was a burden when the night came, for I preferred reading to sleep.” Feeling the confirmation of the Holy Ghost, Parley wrote: “I knew and comprehended that the book was true. … My joy was now full.”
Reading the Book of Mormon gives power to avoid deception.
Discover the power of the Book of Mormon.
Make reading the Book of Mormon part of family life.

*Alma and Amulek
What can I learn from Alma?
How am I like Amulek?
To be a successful leader you must find your Amuleks.
Find them by seeing with your heart.
Listen with your heart and follow the promptings of the Spirit.
Seek out, inspire, and rely on the Amuleks of our day.
The Savior knows where you are. He knows your heart.

The Lord grants his power to all those in priesthood offices who worthily do their duties.
There is no difference in power of office so long as we do our duty. – Wilford Woodfruff
There is infinity to the power of the priesthood.
For Elders, deep gratitude is an essential part of your service.
Give all you can the same kind of help you once received.
Remember the Lord and perish not.
Always accept the offer of the Lord.
Study carefully the oath and covenant of the priesthood (DC 84).
Rise up to lift others to prepare for their service.
